Prosthetics & Orthotic Clients

The Oregon Artificial Limb Company serves clients of all ages and backgrounds.

Nearly 2 million Americans live with limb loss. Our staff of highly seasoned professionals are skilled at fitting the most technologically advanced devices along with “old school” favorites. We work with clients of all ages and fitness levels.

Each patient is assigned two care team members to assure someone who is familiar with your unique needs is always available. Our practitioners are available to attend PT and physician appointments, and we provide ongoing follow-up to assure continued fit and comfort.

We believe there is no substitute for personal experience when it comes to expertise in this field, and as such OAL has always included people who have lost limbs among its employees.

Prosthetics for Diabetic care

54% of limb loss is caused by vascular disease, including diabetes and peripheral arterial disease. We take a special interest in helping diabetic patients regain and maintain mobility.

Our staff understands the unique needs of our clients who have lost limbs because of diabetes and vascular disease and will work closely with your primary healthcare provider to ensure your needs are met.

Prosthetics & Orthotics for Senior & Geriatric care

We see clients of all age ranges, and have fit clients as old as 100 years! Age should never be a barrier to receiving the same quality of care. Whether you’re a twenty-something wanting a prosthetic you can run a marathon with, or you’re in your nineties and just want to be able to get up and walk to the kitchen without assistance, we are here to meet your needs.

Prosthetics & Orthotics for Military & Veterans

Some of OAL’s first clients were veterans of the United States Civil War. Since then, we’ve had a long history of serving clients with war injuries. In fact, our previous president, Mr. Louis Salovich, was a Korean War veteran who lost his leg while fighting overseas.

We have the expertise to fit complex cases and unusual sockets for those with trauma-related loss of limb.

We have honored the sacrifice of our veterans for over a century and look forward to continuing to serve our heroes in the years to come

If you want a place where the staff know you and your unique needs, a place where you get ongoing care to ensure your prosthetic or orthotic is keeping up with you, then OAL is the place to be.

As technology becomes more efficient and the world faster-paced, more and more people leave their doctor’s office feeling alienated and uncared for. We aren’t the sterile, white-walled office where you’re rushed through a slew of questions and then shown the door as soon as your allotted time is up. We give our clients unlimited time to ask questions, get informed, and find the perfect fit.
