What we do

Quality prosthetic limbs & orthotic medical devices

Professionally designed, created & custom fitted on-site for you.

“When I came [to OAL] in 1990, I had been in a wheelchair for almost a year. OAL proved immediately that my wheelchair was not necessary. With proper fitting legs, I’ve since lived a truly able lifestyle. With joy, I’ve walked the sand dunes of Hawaii and the cobblestones of Europe” - Susie, client, patient and former OAL employee

What can you expect when fitting a prosthesis or orthotic device?

We talk, craft & fit to you.

The Oregon Artificial Limb Co. is not like the chain companies where clients become just a number: we know you by name when you walk in the door. We offer free consultations, so you can sit down with our practitioners and get your questions answered. When you call our office, you’ll be greeted by the friendly voice of one of our employees who will get you in for a same-week appointment, or the same day for emergencies.

First Meeting

In your first meeting with our experts, we assess activity level, personal needs, device preferences, and come up with a care plan.

Making Life Simpler

We've been doing this a long time. We know medical insurance and we know the Doctor's documentation you need. We'll take care of getting all the paperwork together and we'll then coordinate between the insurance and your physician's office.

The First Fit
Our prosthetists take as much time as is required to get a good fit. Some hard to fit cases require more time, and the company is generous with its time. Most providers give you an hour slot.
Once we’ve found a good fit, we craft the item in-house, allowing for direct interaction between the technician and patient throughout the process.
Fitting & Tuning
Instead of waiting days or weeks for your device to be shipped to and from a remote facility, we make adjustments to your prosthetic in real time for a perfect fit.

I have finally found a place that truly cares and listen’s to your needs, concerns and fears. From the moment I first stepped into the clinic, i felt welcomed. They immediately went to work that... day getting me fitted for a new socket and boy was it a beauty. The socket design gave me the ability to control the fluctuations in volume i was experiencing and I finally was no longer pounding the end of my residual limb, but they didn’t stop there. They made the prosthetic lighter and more responsive, allowing me to finally break free and be me again. Hiking, walking blocks at a time, learning to climb up stairs one leg at a time, taking dance classes and walking my 95 pound pit bull. I am living again ♥️ after 5 other clinics who said “I couldn’t.”. Thank you Oregon Artificial Limb!!read more

From the very get-go they have treated me like family and help me achieve goals I didn't think would come for 2-3 years as far as my prosthetic goes. I cannot recommend them highly enough if you have... prosthetic needs. As far as I'm concerned they do go the extra mile for their clients. Good job!read more
